About Andrea and Jacques
Andrea is a journalist and traveler whose experience includes walking the Camino de Santiago, camel trekking in the Wahiba Sands of Oman, and not quite finishing the Pennine Way. He has sailed his own dhow, abseiled into Oman's deepest cave system, and confesses to being a camel-lover.

Tannerie-in-fes
Above, the famous Fes tanneries are a honeycomb of multi-coloured dye vats, tendered with high skill and care by team of tanners, who together represent an ancient cooperative guild of craftsmen, master craftsmen and apprentices. Most Fes Hotels and riads will arrange for their guests to visit the tanneries.
